Mr. G. B. Reddy, IFS, Director, Orissa Watershed Development Mission (OWDM)
Mr. Reddy has joined Indian Forest Service in the year 1981 , for the last 24 years he worked in various capacities and activitly involved in Tribal Development and Natural Resource Management programmes. Mr. Reddy joined as Director Orissa Watershed Development Mission (OWDM) in September 2004 and involved in implementation of watershed development programme in the state.As Director OWDM he holds responsibility of managing Western Orissa Rural Livelihoods Project (WORLP) on the behalf of Gov. of Orissa. Earlier Mr. Reddy worked in UNWFP funded World Food Programme (WFP) as Project Director WFP Orissa and implemented various food security and livelihoods programmes in the tribal pocket of Orissa. Mr. Reddy loves traveling.

Mr. R. Raghu Prasad, IFS, Addl. Director, Orissa Watershed Development Mission (OWDM)
Mr. Raghu Prasad is an Officer of the Indian Forest Service, 1997 Batch. Besides being a forester he has been actively involved in various developmental activities towards improving the Socio Economic conditions of the tribal communities. He worked as Project Administrator in Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Koraput for over 3 years wherein he has gained extensive experience in promoting various Strategic Sectoral Interventions aimed towards Tribal Development. He has worked closely and coordinated with various Departments and have implemented various multilateral projects. He has joined the OWDM team during April 2004.
He has a special interest in Natural Resource Management with emphasis on Strategic Development.

Mr. Debadatta Das, Financial Administrator, Project Support Unit (PSU)
He has over 7 years of experience in the financial sector. Besides being M. Com and MBA (Finance), he has also completed NCFM from National Stock Exchange and Quality Management from NIIT. Prior to WORLP he was working as General Manager ( Finance ) with a leading private sector metal and Ferro alloys company. He is also a visiting faculty to leading business schools in the state like IMIS and B-School Academy in the areas of management accounting and financial services.

Dr Rajeev Sharma, PSU Coordinator Cum Communication Specialist
He has 10 year of experience of working with bilateral projects placed within the project as well within the Government Department. He is a Veterinarian by Profession and has done his Post Graduate Programme in Business Administration from XIM, Bhubaneswar. He has joined as PSU Coordinator since July ‘2005. Prior to this he was working with Indo Swiss NRM programme as Executive Human & Institutional Development. He has rich experience in project management, training and extension. He has the expertise to handle situations in crisis optimistically and building team dynamics within the groups. He has been exposed to International courses on Extension Management at IAC, the Netherlands and Farmer led Extension at IIRR, Philippines.

Mr. Subodh Mahapatra, Project Support Unit (PSU), Livelihoods Specialist
Subodh has 13 years experience in working with donor-funded livelihoods improvement projects. He worked for DFID funded Indo-British Rainfed Farming Project for more than 11 years. He has also worked with CARE-India Livelihood restoration project and health project for more than 2 years before joining WORLP. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Science. He has rich experience in participatory planning, farm based & off farm based income generating activities, cropping systems, participatory monitoring and implementation. He has been exposed to international training courses at University of East Angalia- UK, Development Study Centre- Dublin and University of Wales Swansea-UK on thematic areas covering Rainfed Farming, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Rajib Kumar Nag, System Analyst, Project Support Unit PSU
He has 11 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. After completing B.E. Computer Science & Engg. He worked as System Analyst and GIS Analyst in OGIMAC, Software Technology Parks of India. He has worked as a Project Manager in Orissa Construction Corporation Limited and executed many projects successfully. He has developed many application software’s for various organizations during this period. He has also worked as an advisor to many organizations.

Anup Kumar Das, Project Support Unit (PSU), NRM Specialist
He has almost 9 years of experience in Community Based Natural Resources Management, Participatory Irrigation Management and Livelihoods based programmes. He has joined WORLP in June, 2005. He has been associated with several donor funded rural development projects in Orissa and West Bengal such as Eastern India Rainfed Farming Project (DFID, funded), EC-aided Minor Irrigation Rehabilitation in Orissa, RSVY, NFFWP, PURA, IWDP, DPAP, etc.. He is an M. Tech. in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering. He has also completed P.G. Dip. in Marketing Management. He been trained in Integrated Watershed Management from IIRR, Philippines and has contributed socio-technical papers in several national & international forums.

Mr. Sibananda Mishra, Development Communication Officer, Project Support Unit
Sibananda Mishra is a post graduate in Economics, Journalism and Mass Communication. He has additional qualifications in web designing (ARENA Multimedia, Bhubaneswar) and Media Management (MICA, Ahmedabad). Earlier he has worked for 12 years as Administrator in the Indo-Swiss Natural Resources Management Programme Orissa. He is calm of nature, deft in writing and an industrious worker. He has keen interest in multimedia applications and has a flair for exploring different media options for effective communication.

Mr. Sudin K, Field Manager MC, Technical Support Expert
Sudin K. has joined PST in February 2005 as Field Manager. He brings with him a multi-disciplinary experience of livelihoods, institutional development, forestry, agriculture, community based resource management, elementary education, health and micro-finance. He is skilled in Participatory planning process, participatory training methods, planning and organization diagnosis. His areas of interest lie in Organisation Development, Project Management, sustainable rural economy and enterprise development. He is a Postgraduate Diploma in Forestry Management (PGDFM) from Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal

Ms. Nazma Sultana, Management Consultants (MC), Finance Manager
Mrs Sultana has 15 years experience of office management and administration and joined the PST in February 2003. She has worked as an administrator for a number of well-reputed national and international agencies including Delhi University, Adam Smith Institute and multi-national engineering companies. Mrs Sultana enjoys travelling and has previously worked in Dubai.

Pravash, Sahu, Small Projects Fund Manager, MC
Mr. Pravash Sahu, a management graduate from Xavier Institute of Social Service (Xiss), Ranchi has over fifteen years of experience in managing various Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) projects within and outside Orissa. He has joined as Small Project Fund Manger with Natural Resource International (NRI) under Western Orissa Rural Livelihood Project (WORLP). He has vast experience in managing various social development projects which includes developing advocacy actions; programme monitoring, evaluation, fund raising, client reporting and client support planning.

Bipra Prasad Kar, Finance Assistant, MC
Bipra Prasad Kar has joined as the Finance Assistant in the Management Consultant at OWDM. He has 3 years of experience in the Finance Sector. Before joining to WORLP he was working in private sector. He loves to play Cricket and Traveling

Rabindra Kumar Gouda, MC
Rabindra Kumar Gouda is a Civil Engineer, with Post Graduate in Rural Management from (IRMA). He has expertise in environmental management, irrigation structural design, water management in most fragile conditions of the eastern zone of India, panipanchayat management, natural resource management (low cost and appropriate technology in watershed development), social analysis, project management, participatory planning in NRM, monitoring and evaluation of projects, institutional analysis and governance. Besides he also has in depth experience in capacity building and setting up institutions. He has long experience of working with government, international NGOs, private bodies, corporate and bi-lateral agencies.
