Mr. G. B. Reddy,IFS, Director, Orissa Watershed Development Mission (OWDM)
Mr. G. B. Reddy has joined Indian Forest Service in the year 1981. For last 30 years, he has worked in various capacities and actively involved in Tribal Development, Natural Resource Management, Rural Livelihoods, Food Security, Microfinance. He has a vast experience in participatory approaches in watershed programme, promotion of community based organizations such as SHGs, User Groups, Common Interest Groups. As a Director, OWDM he holds responsibility of managing over 4000 micro watersheds covering an area of 1.5 million ha. having around 6000 villages. He also holds responsibility of managing DFID funded Western Orissa Rural Livelihoods Project (WORLP). Earlier he worked in UNWFP funded World Food Programme ( WFP ) as Project Director and implemented various food security and livelihoods programmes in the tribal pockets of Orissa. He also worked as Divisional Forest Officer in the State of Orissa and General Manager, Orissa Forest Development Corporation Ltd.

Mr. Niranjan Sahu,Manager (GIS)
Niranjan has 20 years of work experience in the field of teaching, extension, research and development. He has the experience of an entire project cycle while working in DANIDA assisted bilateral project on watershed development. Working experience with Government, NGOs, Civil society and the tribal are his assets. Participatory planning, Capacity building, Natural resources management and Monitoring and evaluation are his domain of core competencies. He has worked in multicultural and multisectoral environment. M. Tech in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Conservation from IIT, Kharagpur; Post Graduate Certificate in Business management(PGCBM) from Xavier Institute of Management(XIM),Bhubaneswar; Overseas General management from Ramboll, Denmark and P.G. Diploma in Social Work and Human Resources Development are his academic credentials. He is a team player and passionate to work on climate change.
